Pine Know Demo Afternoon in the new Apex MC-X

10/10 on new boots. Super comfort and feel in the skis. Stiffness for soft shell is incredible. Stiffer than old Salomon's. Maybe too stiff for the new Krypto! Love the Magtek S7.

River Bends is primed for snow biking!

12-13" of powder pack on a 10-12" wide groomed single track - yes is time to ride at 5 PSI! Very technical and slow arriving but really fun MTB FAT perfection in snow. Did 10 miles in an hour and a half and really enjoyed the 28° weather. Love lowering the tire pressure this time of year and riding cold. Can't wait for more snow but this is about as good as it gets after a decent snowfall to start to the Fat season.

Bloomer and it icy on the rim, great 9 tires work.

32 degrees and 1-2 inch's on pow on and mostly fast pack snow but fun at Bloomer. Dressed right with light layers but the moose mitts were perfect. Bring on winter fat-ti riding.

Metro goes Wild West with Waves - last 2017 Day?

2 hours on the 7m Pivot after starting on the 9 and Mako and seeing the great curling wave action in the bowl. WSW 20-40 gales from 1-3:30 with a gusty topper. Good waves for a heelside slash session. Actually had a lot of depowered on the 7 coming in - windy and cold but no issues with the 7mm gloves. Hope we get in one more of these before winter locks in.

Bloomer Island Lake Weekend Fall Fat-Ti Goodness

All good except for the 100 rounds of AR-15 firehose that scared the hell out of me Sunday at ILRA. Very Las Vegas feel to whoever massacred deer out there. Thought I would get hit be all the bullet spray - no wonder I rode so fast! Bring on winter - love riding in the 40 degree temps.

Snow Kiting on water at Hi.

Solid 9 day at 38 degrees. Tom and Mark joined in on the cold fun with a 3 hour Sunday midday session with west to nw winds 20-35+. Got over 2 hours in on the Duke and final session on the Mako. Great fun and solid cold winds to almost gale at times. 7mm gloves and boots and super dry boost made this cold day easy!

Back to HI - another 7M gale this time with some snow!

Great day for what may be the last date(s) on the water before its full on winter. Back to HI! Another cold one in the 40's but trying to new $40 GoPro knockoff with some HD video. Dark sky and winds WSW 20-35 to start the session and its actually perfect on the 7m and the Duke. Great swell building and by 5pm its a full gale with 40+ winds and more full West winds. Now its snowing and sleeting too. In for a break and its so windy my Carbon Houting gets picked up off the brass and thrown into the road! Cosmetic damage and so sanding but stupid I will always keep that board near the car when not riding... Winds drop from nuclear and snow ends so back out for another and not to be outdone by last week the horizon opens for hues of blue/red/yellow and the sun doing and color dance as it disappears and darkness falls. In just before 6 and pitch dark 10 minutes later. Great afternoon and another worthy drive home. Video highlights some trench spraying.

Harsens has it all: Sun, Rain, Hail and Gale!

7m Glory.  Starting underpowered on the 7 and Duke in South 12-25 but it worked well later in day. Cold temps in 40's but winds kept ramping up. Dark clouds giving away to rain then hail then sun and full rainbows. Good slashing and carving conditions once the winds got above 30's. By 5pm it was 40+ full gale with the sun out and spray blowing off top of water. Lots of smiles on a day that was worth the drive! Winter is coming....

Easy like Sunday Highland morning.

Awesome Sunday morning at 11am at 45 degree temps with clouds and wet leaves. But what a cool fun ride. Highland was actually dry and not slippery with the nights prior rain. 14.1 miles in 2:30 with JB and Lucky the Dog Runner! Love fall riding and cold temps. Now I have to figure out what's going on with the rear hub noises - surgery this week on hub and pawns!

Really good swell and curling wave action in the beach bowl by 11am. Stashing and cutting it. 1pm on the hour it went nuclear and west - made it in with no time to spare! Great Sunday morning. Lots of smiles and those iron men back out over at Harsens for some more 6m action. Now this is fall sailing action.

Bloomer Friday Fall Looper

Nice 70 and sun with brand new Guide RS levels. Supper braking with the fork running very tight. Leaves are already down everywhere on trail first half! Perfect close by single track.
