Caseville - worthy of drive.

70's and Sun plus 35 kiters all up for Memorable Memorial Kitefest. Starting on the 12 with 15-20 out of the SSW quickly became 20+ WSW and moving to the 9m with a small hole on the tip of the 12 when it buckled and the bridle wrapped on the wingtip. Great wave and swell and plenty of fun. Off the glassy breakwall. Plus Dan in town for a day gun by me a chance to test the new North Whip 5'5" CSC. Great MPD shape that is huge in volume. Turned great and hg ad tons of top end speed. Loved to try the smaller ones! On water at 11:30 off at 5:30 with final 3+ hours on the 9m and final hour on Mako. Great day with big crew on water. Worthy of the long drive.

Quick speedy loop at Bloomer before the lite rains hit. 8.1 miles in an hour. Legs in mid season shape - could have done another if not for the wetness.

Metro Sun and gusty South.

Got on water by 3:30 to up and down 15-30 out of south. 9m and Duke worked well when it was steady with lots of great wave swell with the now deep LSC waters. 88 and sunny worked well with crowded skies out in front of the launch. Snuck back in about 5:30 when it started to drop. Waited around and derigged at 7pm and of course it picked up! Rigged the 12m and when out at 7:45 for another more steady session of 15-25 with a nice sunset. Great wave day just need some more steady winds.

New Torn Shirt is reborn and Murray Lake still lonnggggg

Over 2 hours and almost 20 miles this place is basically Highland with speed and flow. New bermed turns and tons of super steep ups packed with speed where you want it. Really nice wide design and Colorado feel for the first 5 miles. ML is still really endless looping back and forth for final 4 miles. Like to hit this one multiple times in these sunny 60 degree days.

Quick 8.5 mile fast ride late - 6:45pm on trail. Close by easy drive reward of dry in-shape singletrack even after all the rain. Sun and cool leg workout. I'll be back for more late rides here.

Sunday Double Sunday.

Perfect sunny dry (after 2 days rain) riding at 55 degrees. Two-fer afternoon. First at Island Lake and then Maybury for almost 22 miles. Loving the Surly tires at a hard 15psi. These monsters work over everything. Spring riding season now in high gear. Let's go.

HI winds rock with 6-7m afternoon

Solid 3 hours of SW. Got on water just after 3:30 with winds lulling in mid twenties but rigged 7m with Duke and got lucky - it kept picking up. Just Craig Tom Keith and I. I was last guy out so it was awesome final hour having the bay to myself with winds going to 40 and I never touched the depower. Cool 57 degrees and overcast was the majority conditions but there was about 15 minutes of sun while the whole bay lit up. Off water at 6:30 and while I was leaving at 7 winds kicked to nuclear touching 50. Great wave craving and a multiple magical aired out strapless floater jumps.

Monday Messy Metro Nukes to Nothing

Full depower then no depower with SSW Winds 7-35+. No steady blow today. Overcast for most part with clouds playing games with holes and then streaks of nuclear winds. 12m to start with bouncy Duke. Then to Mako until 12 got scary. Then best part was 7m to myself with some nice tall wave action right up front until that was underpowered. Not a great day but had a few moments-and JB's out of a tree!
