Count it at Milford.

Highland was ice city at 9:30 so JB and I drove 4 miles south to ride a mostly 80% ice free flowy singletrack. First time for JB and really slow 5mph pace but you know the potential here once you hit the dry sections. Fun morning that didn't feel like 11 miles and better with beers at Drawing Table Brewery.

Big Day at Is. Lk. and Milford at 12 degrees

3 hours and nearly 25 miles and very cold... perfection with 5/6 PSI on the the new Surly Lou and Bud tires. Island Lake with lite snow and about 70% ice was still fine without studs and low PSI - really fun and I wanted more... so off to Milford for 2 more loops which were even better with frozen dirt = slickrock. Great grip and really pretty fast. Loved this 5 mile single track - its small but has good flow and lots os tech sections and up and downs. Must do this combo again soon.

Mabury Iceman Muddth

Cold and muddy Monday ride at Maybury. Probably the longest ride in the shortest distance very icy and snowy 80% coverage on the single track at Maybury. Very few people out 40° temperatures and hopefully the last time out on the snowshoe tires. Still a very enjoyable hour plus on the trails not enough time to do a second loop. Love the winter riding even when it's treacherous ice and a little bit of mud. Finish right off by going to the car wash to spray the bike down.

Back and right over to Tree Farm

Great 10 miles while slow on 30% snow / 30% ice / 30% dry / 10% mud. Sunny late afternoon and 40 degrees with hot hands in the moose mitts. More goodness tomorrow before the rain. With tires at 8/9 PSI perfection in rolling and grip.
