Addy be frozen even at 34 degrees.

2 loops with 3 stops to inflate the tires. 7psi quickly down to 2.5 as the rim won’t seal. Fun ride 95% lite snow over hard Ice. Good ride at speed - who needs studs.

Studs are no fun - and thus I’m done.

My longest and worst ride at Pontiac. Goodbye studs.

Finally Flying the 5 - great kite in a Sunny Gale

30-40 SW Day with Gales! Jester ripping but after an hour op’d on the 7m - I pulled out the 5 Slash and it worked like a dream. Gusty winds with some 45 pulses and no problems. In fact the kit flew way in the lulls as well. Maybe it was the 22m lines or the oversheeting of the bar. Totally like the kite now and worthy purchase - easily my best and longest day on it. Sun popped out final hour with just Backroll and I enjoying it. Great day in Mid December- a gift for sure.

Sunday and repeat Sun and 9m goodness

Steady and solid 18-22 WSW all day into the evening. Late on the water but worth the days drive. No clouds and total sun never really cold with 40’s most of the day. Great waves and craving action. Almost 3 hours. Nice day. Beers and cheers with JB as the sun sets. Fun and sun day IN MID-DECEMBER!.

Saturday starts off December Weekend Kite Fun

Winds up to 60 but before all that solid 9m and then 7m action at MB. Temps to upper 50’s and lots of smiles riding before the western freight train blew through at noon. Good day but too much for 5m and the 3.7 WS. Leaving a little in the tank for tomorrow's possible sailing!

2 Sport Saturday: AM w/TJ at RB and PM at HI

MTB AM: Struggle ride with studs. Top ten hardest peddling ever. These tires are super slow and ridiculous tough with no snow. Can’t believe it. Do I want to keep these!!!?

Kite PM: HI sunny glory again 20’s WSW and fun on the 9 and Duke then Jester. 45 degrees but somehow not cold and thin gloves work fine and bone dry inside the drysuit. Fun with TJ, the Fox and Backroll Mulkeran.

Woo 7 Heaven and A Sunny Gale at HI

Well powered without the 5m at HI. Full Sun, 52 degrees, and WNW 30-40 from 2-5pm. Last on water and last off water into the darkness. Great day and we’ll worth the drive. TJ and Craig on 7’s and Aaron’s on an 8m - he forgot his 6 and I forgot my 5! If this is last day of year on water in 2021 it’s great day to round out a good year. Drinks and great Perch dinner at the SchoolHouse - home by 9pm.

Fall Wave Classic at Tawas - Worth the Drive!

On the road by 8am with Craig and Keith and on water just after 11am right as it looked like the winds dropped under 20. But we rigged 9’s anyway and it was game on for the next 4 hours. Great side on winds 20-25 SSW all day. Beautiful waves long 100-250 ft sets averaging 2-6’ high curling and breaking in waist deep water. Tawas was great you could barely tell the temps were in 50’s. Water surprisingly warm was super clear and pure sand with no rocks in water or on beach. What a killer spot. No question it’s a drive but we’ll worth it. Home by 7pm. Thanks to Keith for driving. Gotta be one of my top ten wave days.
