Perfect LTB PM pickup on HS
Great 12M kite afternoon with 15-20k solid sun and swell. Almost 3 hrs. In one long session. Perfect setup with NW launch here at Tannery Creek. Need a smaller board now! Check put my new kite caddie.

Holly looping and dropping.
Super fun with some great 3' drops and walls on the Holly West loops. 9.3 miles for 1:10 and really fast and flat free. Great quick alternative to Grubers when you don't have 2+ hours.

Hot Friday: 95 and 25+++
Woo. Super hot and windy SW at metro. All day. 25-30 on the 4.7 solid past the pointing the open waters. Very few boaters or even people at metro which was surprising. Not much swell but some lips and waves later on the shoal. Amazing I had like 2 hours alone way out blasting overpowered 4.7 loving it. Where is everyone? Rigging down. Almost like being at Gorge.

Holly Flats 11 miles in...
Holly, sun, 82 degrees, noon and relatively little humidity. Got 15.5 miles in 1:47 with massive bug swarms after a flat tire flat that was inevitable based on the number of downed trees on trial I rode over. Was a great ride up to that point. Next up is puncture proof tires.

Highland Sweatfest Saturday
Don't try and mtb ride in 80% humidity on 85° day. Biking is not fun when it's that hot and that humid. Got in just about 12 miles in long one hour and 38 minutes. Going back to B after C loops was a killer. Endless in the Highland Forrest and no way I could do D and survive. Trail won this round.

Best way to spend a Monday 7-1-13
Yeah. Classic Lex day for me especially since I missed the 5m day here yesterday. Northeast 20-25 with partly cloudy 65-70 degrees. Great start to July with rare north summer flow. Got almost 5 hours in nicely powered 5.4 then second half on 4.7. Spent most of the session on the waves curling on north side of Lex marina breakwall. Great swell off point by 4 pm and lots of downwind mid shore rolling then breaking 3-5' waves. Just perfect by my standards for a perfect Monday... While Silver Fox still saying it was better yesterday (not if you weren't there).

Stoney Creek Evening with some Trials jumping
Late evening in the SC woods for 11.8 miles in 1:25. Good practice on the jumps and wood drops on the trials course after. Hot and humid and about 90% recovered from worst cold ever. Needed this ride to build back the stamina.

Pontiac Fathers Day Ride.
This ride was ill. Meaning I was sick as ever. But atleast for 1:05 and 10.08 miles I wasn't thinking about it. Slippery muddy sweaty but got it done.

Sun at Ft. Gratiot and wind too!
Ft. Gratiot County Park. Back and forth from Lexington where there was little wind. But once settled in nice small waves and 20 north winds. Some great waves downwind and 2 huge tabletop jumps going out port. Good stuff on the 5.4 with big fin just tons of pull in the sail. Craig and Larry ripped the shorebreak up nicely too. Wished I could have got there eariler and stayed late. Nice classic marine layer out on lake with 70 and sun. Need more of this.
