High wind alert at Metro. After mild SSE forecast winds blew to 35 as I got off water at 5:30. 4 solid hours on the 12 Pivot with first half on the Duke and building swell. Most of the midday it was 15-20++ South but kicking at 4 with a little west it was 20-30+. Big air and a million jibes later it was all smiles and big crowds all along the launch making for sketchy entry and exit. Really fun 80 degrees with sun low humidity allowing a great thermal build. Just wish I would have moved to the 9m for the second session!!!
