BR delivers a 7m sunny wavey day!

Woo, 9m an 7m day with some great tall curling waves. 20-35mph mostly all day. Carve city and trenching the beachfront in Canada. 4 hours almost and 3 of those on the Duke. Fall like temps in 70s and WNW turning dead North at 4pm and touching 37 mph. The beach was mostly empty but for 4 other kiters and the waves along the breakwall end were perfection with the sun shining off their curling glory. Needed this day after 4 veeks since a SoHa. Great kiting day at BR and adding the wave action it was at classic to plan on coming again for on a NW.

Brighton Hot Rear Brake Fun.

19.2 long miles on 83 degree heat with the dreaded SRM Guide RS brake fail. Sticky and stuck front brakes made me ditch it and we rode it rear only. JB killing it SingleSpeed leading the way. Great trail with about 1/2 the fun factor diving into the turns and drops. I'll be back with new brakes soon.

Highland perfect fall like perfection

Great ride - my best ever and most enjoyable at Highland. Temps made it perfect - 65 is ideal here. I'm calling under 2 hours riding but 2:10 with stops. Feels good on a sunny cool Saturday after 2 weeks off. JB leading the way and remarkably killing it single speed style. Relive it here--> https://www.relive.cc/view/1176131085

South Haven top spot for wind and waves! Labor Day Wave Fun!

What a great Labor Day and sailing spot. Arriving by 9:30 to 20-25 side on SSW winds and nearly 50 kiters doesn't get any better. Woo, huge curling 4-7' waves and perfect direction. 9m and strapless with a pretty tough shorebreak but after a slow start it was fun to challenge myself riding all the way in to pick and plow my way out. A couple 3-4' rushing white waters and 6' curling waves but I got through 90% of them. 9 worked perfectly  up until wind dropped at 2. Crowds were only challenge to riding more in impact zone. Lots of guys riding twin tips and fearlessly airing it out in the main riding zone. But still highlights were riding a couple 10' bombers super close to breakwall. Clean glassy waves  on this direction made it super good. Loved the steep faces to cut back on and really was loving it when sun spread light in the wind blown faces. All in all one of the best days and a must do next season. Boring relives below unless your into the same old big waves repeatedly ramping up, curling for you and driving you into shore.

Finally Lex is firing Sun and Waves 9m.

Completely one of the best kiting days at Lexington. Arrived at 8:30 in the morning to find Sun in north northeast wind 20 to 25 miles an hour. I joined Craig Tom Mark and Ric out on the 9 m pivot to rock the waves all the way down to the wave pit down the coast. Got in about 39 miles of riding in the first three hours and then got ready to pack it up for the downwind or at Port Sanilac. Tom Craig and I rigged up 9 m and follow the sun down the coast for the next hour and a half for another 21 miles of slashing in 2 to 5 foot waves with three sections offering super clean curling ramps. Didn't get off the water until 5:30 PM and didn't get home until 11 PM! Dinner at Sweetwater with Aaron, Mike and Jeff too. A full day and worthy of calling it a classic at Lexington. My favorite spot of all time. Relive it below!
