Butte-iful First day of snowboarding 2020/21

Sunny Bluebird first day at Crested Butte. Perfection. Craving and trenching on the new 30” base. Epic steak dinner at Elk Prime capped off a full day!

Saturday at the Bends begins Winter Biking 2020/21

Saturday, partly cloudy, 34 degrees and 90% packed snow on the singletrack. Cold but not wet and perfect testing for the heated gloves. A loop and a half  in 1:30. Fun ride before CO trip!

Metro Dec. 14 Ho Ho Go its Saturday, 53 and Windy

Everything day. South 9m light to start 18-22 hard driving rain and 30 minutes later sun and  HUGE double rainbow! Then winds drops to zero and I barely limp in from way out alone by the point. An hour later it’s solid 9m and 30 minutes later it’s nuking to 40. 9 too much to chance rocks at launch so it’s beach with Craig and weed city on the kite lines. Beers in Van with the Fox rehashing the days fun. Likely my final 2020 day on the water! 

It’s cold winter looms - time to go Strapless!

34 degrees - my favorite temp zone to ride. This time with flats and the new heated FieldSheer gloves. Toasty warm so mush so my hands were sweating by the end of the ride! Greasy but mostly dry and had place to myself. Beer and California Cauliflower Chili dinner. 

Stony will/could be the new DTE

Impressed. New Beach loop is awe some. They were working there today even. Literally 2 guys riding the whole place between 1-3pm on a Saturday. This place of going to be near DTE’s quality when all done.
