8am and 23 degrees but firm and hard riding. Won't be this way by noon. Tons of deer with me this cold morning.

Highland solid although wet!

Sunny Sunday and too pooped for D plus it was too warm. Great A-C ride followed by car wash spray down!

Holly easy to get it all in 2 hours!

Holly grippy and carvable soft but I'd rather be kiting or ripping at Brewski! Rain and windy later.

Pine Knobby Sunday Afternoon

Good Sunday with light snow under icy base. But the Magtek S7 edges on the Krypto are amazing. These edges can grab on to per ice sheets as they had to running the gates and the snowboard cross courses.

Highland Saturday Fast Freeze

One of my best rides ever at Highland 27° and 90% grippy snow and 10% fat bike knobby frozen ice. Super fast at 6psi. D was all grippy snow and I blasted it all fast. About 10 minutes off my normal pace. Woo... I love riding when it's cold and packed snow. Back next weekend if it holds.

Saturday at 40 and it’s packed snow at Ponto

Remarkable it's 80% packed wet snow/10%/10% water&mud. I'm mostly dry and happy riding my flats at 10psi. Good ride with grippy ice/snow. Thank you to my 4.8" friends Bud and Lou!

The one Week you need studded tires!

No way on trails, lucky fat bike trail was fairly ice free. Got to know all of Addison making up my own ride. Cold 25 degrees too!

Mr. Softie Ice Cream at Bloomer Saturday

Warm thick heavy snow with 5 psi tires and 45 degrees. Snowboarding on bike but it was hard blazing the first tracks. Slow ride but thats what 4" of melting ice cream give you. Made the rim too! Wish I was here in the morning, different ride in dry packed pow.

Big 2 Sport sunny Windy Sunday at Walled Lake

Perfect 12m day at noon with 30+ miles on the snowkite. Sun and 20 degrees but not really that cold with 10-25+ NW breezes. The old 12m Pivot worked perfectly with the repaired dead canopy not even noticeable on the ice. 3 hours on the lake with the big follow up at 4:30 over the Tree Farm for the Fat Biking into the darkness. Great packed 3-4" pow fattie tire tracks gave the ride a truly winter feel with some sliding turns and slippery uphills. Home by 7 with hero beers and Alleve! Winter Is indeed finally here. 

Big 27+ mile MTB Weekend.

Count it - lots of sun and cold hard ice packed singletrack. Super fast and really good rolling at 6psi on the FatTi. Awesome weekend to ride. Next up Treetops and Otesgo on the boards.
